About us: Ameritech Slope Constructors, Inc. is a geohazard mitigation company that specializes in rockfall and landslide stabilization. We utilize rope access methods for most of our construction projects. Our services include rock scaling, high angle drilling, installation of rock bolts and soil nails, rockfall drapes, rockfall barriers, dry mix shotcrete, high strength mesh slope stabilization and debris flow barriers. We do work from the mid- west to the eastern United States, Hawaii and in the Caribbean. Our main office is in Asheville, NC. Our company exists to mitigate geohazards to keep people and structures safe.

About the Position: This position will involve numerous tasks from cutting trees and brush on steep slopes to building rock bolts on the ground. It involves using a variety of tools and specialized equipment for drilling, mixing and pumping grout, installing rock bolts and hanging mesh, etc. This position requires out of town travel to projects for 3 to 4 weeks at a time. A pre-employment drug test is required with random drug testing after employment.

Qualifications: This position requires employees to be physically fit, mentally alert and have a good attitude. Must be able to work at height and to work safely while suspended on a rope. Must be willing to learn safe work methods for a variety of tasks and be willing to take instruction from fellow workers that have experience.
